With every new project we undertake, there is a design process in which we guide our clients through first in order to understand their requirements better. Below is our step by step guide on how our design team achieves the final end product.

Altering the look and feel of your website can have many benefits. Keeping up with latest trends and shows customers that your business is constantly active and evolving. This ultimately will help clients potentially select your company for projects or utilise your company’s services.

1. Briefing

Understanding what the client needs in terms of design is the most crucial step before starting any project. All design work is scoped according the brief and time that it takes a resource to deliver, whether the application and purpose is for for Print or Digital.

In the case of building a website, client will need to supply us with a detailed brief that explains what exactly is required. The steps below that follow are typical to most web projects.

2. Costing

The next step to bringing your idea to a reality is scoping. Every project is unique. Therefore, based on the brief and the supplied content, we'll be able to determine the hard costs involved (theme, plugins, licences, hosting, etc) and also the labour hours required to build. Websites also require elements of the following; graphic design, photography, copywriting.

3. Concepts

We design and develop according client Brand Guidelines and Corporate Identity in order to maintain brand consistency. Unless the client requires the following; design, strategy and copywriting as additional services to the website build.

4. Development

Once hosting is setup with WordPress and a premium theme, our developers get to work so that the team can start optimising photos and preparing the content for loading into your website. The content governs the layout of the theme based on what we are given to work with, which we will do in the very best way possible.

5. Review

User-accepted testing entails the following basic checks; mobile responsiveness tested on the most common devices, cross-browser testing, form submission testing, Google Analytics setup and Security measures.

6. Signoff

We also ensure that our clients are 100% satisfied with the final product in terms of the website layout, overall build, functionality and aesthetics.
